Warranty Policy

One-year Warranty and 90-day Warranty

Moopy is committed to providing superior products that are quality-tested and guaranteed free from defects in materials and workmanship.

We provide a 1-year warranty period for all backpacks and a 90-day warranty period for all accessories sold (subject to the date you place the order). If you have questions, please contact us at support@moopyonline.com. We are more than happy to assist you in understanding your situation.


Which products are covered?

Our 1-year warranty (the "Warranty") extends to bags/backpacks (our β€œProducts”) and 90-day warranty (the "Warranty") extends to accessories (our β€œProducts”) manufactured by Moopy and purchased directly from our official website (https://moopyonline.com). This excludes any products under clearance sale when the order is placed.

The warranty period starts from the date you place your order. It does not cover your backpack and accessories if you use it in a manner that is incompatible with the intended design and purpose.


Is the warranty transferable?

It extends only to the original purchaser of the product. All warranties are not transferable.


What is not covered?

  1. Damages resulting from normal wear and tear, improper use, abuse, negligence, or accident. "Normal wear and tear" includes the damage to zippers and buckles that is expected due to normal use over time. All fabrics are subject to scratches, dents, rips, tears, loose threads, edge paint peelings, stains or fading that occur through normal use of the product and do not impair the functionality of the product. These are not defects.

  2. Damage that occurs from improper maintenance, washing, or cleaning as well as damages that are the results of attempted self-repair.

  3. Damage that is caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, or water.

  4. Any product sold by an authorized third-party vendor, retailer, or website that is not Moopy (https://moopyonline.com). The same applies to any backpacks sold by an unauthorized party such as second-hand dealers or resellers.


What happens when a defect occurs?

  1. In the event of a defect, contact us at support@moopyonline.com and provide photos, including proof of the original date of purchase and product/s.

  2. You may be asked to return the item/s to the shipping address and follow the instructions provided. Pack and seal your return securely, and make sure your order number is visible on the package. This will enable us to track your return.

  3. We do not provide a prepaid return label to return your backpack. When sending your package, be sure to include a tracking number, signed delivery note, and/or insurance. Moopy is not responsible for any lost returns.

  4. We will reimburse your shipping costs (a shipping receipt must be provided) if your return is accepted.

  5. Moopy will investigate the cause of the defect and come up with a solution, either a partial refund (prorate the or replacement.


Moopy reserves the right to:

  1. We generally do not repair gear or products, but if damage or defects occur within the 1-year warranty period, you may request a replacement.

  2. Offer a similar product of comparable value, or a partial refund of the price paid, if we cannot replace it with the same model.

  3. A partial refund is calculated as a proportion of the price paid in accordance with the remaining warranty period (as of the date you place the order).

    The calculation for a partial refund is as follows:
    The amount you originally paid is $100, divided by 12 (if the warranty is 1 year), which works out to $8.33 per month. Then multiply that amount by 3 (if you have 3 months left on the warranty). Therefore, your partial refund is $24.99.

  4. Replacement product may be manufactured in a different batch than the original item you purchased. Therefore, slight color differences may occur.

  5. In accordance with the date of your order, the warranty for replacement items is determined by the duration remaining on the existing warranty.


DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES SET FORTH ON THE WARRANTY POLICY, M MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS AND GRANTS NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, EITHER IN FACT OR BY OPERATION OF LAW, BY STATUTE OR OTHERWISE, UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. MOOPY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY OTHER WRITTEN OR ORAL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.


LIMITATION ON LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL MOOPY BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF VALUE OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS THAT ARE USED IN OR WITH THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF MOOPY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. MOOPY HAS NO LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE TO CONSUMER ELECTRONICS DEVICES OR OTHER PERSONAL PROPERTY THAT ARE IN OR CONNECTED TO THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LAPTOP COMPUTERS, TABLETS, SMARTPHONES, OR OTHER DEVICES. MOOPY HAS NO LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA CONTAINED IN THE DEVICES.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANY DAMAGES THAT YOU MIGHT INCUR FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, THE ENTIRE LIABILITY OF MOOPY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. SOME COUNTRIES, STATES AND/OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN THAT CASE, THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
